The smallest applicant pools are usually close to home: scholarships only students from one county can apply for. We have found 56 of them so far across 51 Louisiana counties, from 45 local sponsors. Pick your county to see who gives there, how much and when the deadlines fall. We keep searching and add new local scholarships as we find them, so this number grows.
Local scholarships in each county. Counties with fewer than 3 are listed without a page of their own for now. Not seeing yours? We add local scholarships every week, and the 33 state scholarships and grants still apply.
The local sponsors here include 9 community foundations, 7 electric and utility co-ops, and 4 credit unions. Each sponsor counted once, by kind; one sponsor can cover several counties.
